Job Description


The Analyst -Consultant Relations & Investor Strategy will support the Global Consultant Relations team and report to the Head of Investor Strategy & Solutions. The Analyst will cover a workload which includes both on-going responsibilities to run existing processes and project leverage (research, analytics, materials prep, etc.).


* Support Head of Investor Strategy & Solutions in initiatives relating to Consultant Relations, Relationship Management and Investor Strategy across all Platforms of Ares Management
* Perform research on potential investors including public and corporate pensions, endowments and foundations, investment managers, insurance companies and family offices to determine key targets for global coverage by Relationship Management team
* Maintain trackers for Consultant relations team
* Prepare any materials for Consultant meetings, as needed
* Distribute a summary of meeting notes, as needed
* Draft and update presentations in support of the team, including cross platform presentations incorporating products from multiple asset classes across Ares
* Organize and prepare for investor meetings, including coordinating meetings, creating agendas, scheduling tours, and ensuring that all materials are prepared in a timely manner
* Work with the Strategy & Relationship Management operations team to streamline processes across different groups including Operations, Corporate Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, and Investment Teams.
* Take on ad hoc projects and support all other teammates with their work as needed


Education: College graduate with major in Economics, Finance, General Business or Management preferred, with outstanding academic record

Experience Required:

* 1-3 years of corporate experience required
* Financial services experience preferred

General Requirements:

* Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word
* Requires flexibility, good communication skills, excellent writing skills and interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks. Demonstrated ability to understand, analyst and articulate financial data, and make informed decisions.
