Arcadis is launching an exciting two-year program for a recent finance, business, accounting or economics graduate. The hire will be part of the Global Finance Graduate Program (start date September 2019). The program is based on three pillars; learning on the job and a smart mix of Performance Support and Learning & Development interventions (70:20:10). During the program the finance graduate will rotate in 4 blocks of 6 months of different assignments globally. The focus of the program will be on (personal) leadership + effectiveness and will consists of assignments exchanges and building connections within Arcadis, supported by Senior Finance leaders in Arcadis.

Responsibilities include:

* Process and review financial data and to ensure the integrity of information within financial systems. Ledger reconciliation and data correction as required;
* Provide support to the finance team for reporting, financial systems functions, operation of budget controls;
* Assist with the maintenance and preparation of financial models and the various reporting tools;
* Develop and utilize skills in processing and accounting for accounts payables, receivables and reporting systems;
* Be part of various project teams on implementing best practices for finance, risk management or accounting;
* Assist with analysis of the results and decision support regarding the operating companies, focused on future business developments.

The ideal candidate combines a strong analytical view with people skills, financial and business acumen. Can work hard and under pressure and has the ability to look beyond day to day issues and support (Finance) Management with structural improvements. Individual has the potential to be considered for key positions in the Company upon completion of rotations.

Required Qualifications

* Recent BS/BA graduate in finance, economics or accounting with 2-3 years of full time applicable experience.
* Demonstrates ability to prioritize effectively and meet deadlines;
* Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels;
* Proven ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing;
* Proven ability to work effectively as an individual and in a team environment;
* Ability to co-operate with other staff;
* High level of professional integrity and commitment;
* Enthusiastic, pro-active and result driven attitude;
* IT literate with strong MS Excel, PowerPoint skills;
* Willingness to work flexible hours based on business needs;
* Willingness to travel occasionally;
* Native language: unspecified, but fluency in English is a must.
* Interest in relocating abroad for an extended period of time.

Preferred Qualifications

* Master's degree in Accounting or Business Economics with top grades.
* Certified Public Accountant Candidates or MBA qualification.
