Job Description

Performs routine assignments in the entry level to a professional job progression. Typically has knowledge of and exposure to fundamental theories, principles and concepts. Develops competence by performing structured work assignments. Uses existing procedures to solve routine or standard problems. Receives instruction, guidance and direction from others.

General Job Description and Responsibilities

Works with cross-functional teams on design, design validation, product integration, product maintenance and testing of highly complex systems, equipment and components. Emphasis on control system hardware, networking hardware and network layout and Windows operating system installation and configuration
Design or modify electrical/electronic assemblies, develop system schematics and component layout of different sizes and scope.
Documents all experimental results, design items/procedures, and test procedures for the final products
Write software and hardware specifications, test plans and procedures, operational procedures, and troubleshooting guidelines.
Staying current on advances in computer technology
Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or plans to perform moderate testing and troubleshooting of complex semiconductor capital equipment.

Education & Qualifications

Minimum Education requirements: BSEE, MSEE, BS Computer Engineering, MS Computer Engineering

Experience in electronic circuit design (analog, digital), development and associated electrical board design, troubleshooting and validation

Knowledgeable in X86 computer system architecture design, computer hardware components and components selection
Understanding of TCP/IP network topologies and layout
Familiar with Windows base operating system installation, device driver installation, registry setting modification and BIOS setting modification
Understanding of AC/DC Power distribution systems required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
