Job Description

* Design, test, debug, repair, and modify a range of PCBs and system to support a large system deployment
* Good understanding of analog and digital design of PCB
* Perform PCB component research and selection
* Perform PCB and system level testing by running diagnostic software and other testing programs
* Work with lab manage lab on testing setup, equipment, and track PCB debug status and reworks
* Use tracking software and system to keep record of all prototypes
* Support manufacturing testing and debug effort of the product (in prototype and production)
* BS in Electrical Engineering, MS Preferred
* Good understanding of analog and digital design of PCB
* Expert knowledge of digital oscilloscope operation and excellent oscilloscope probing skills
* Soldering with no-lead solder on small components
* Basic mechanical hand-tool skills
* Knowledge of EDA (prefer Cadence) schematic and layout tools or simulation tools like Verilog or SystemVerilog a big plus
* Familiar with 100G Ethernet and PCIe gen2/3/4 designing, probing and debugging
* Knowledge of large pin count FPGA SOC and DDR3/4 a big plus
* Experience in testing and debugging of optical systems/optoelectronic assemblies and prior experience working with a range of detectors and light sources such as PDs, LEDs, laser diodes and related assemblies a big plus
