Job Description

Join an engineering team to develop advanced opto-mechanical assemblies for a high resolution lithographic imaging system. Drive improvements of existing design to improve the quality and manufacturing cycle time. Provide documentation, training, and escalation support to manufacturing engineers. Give input on design changes needed for next generation optics to improve performance, serviceability, and manufacturability. Perform the set-up, calibration, testing, alignment and troubleshooting of optical and mechanical assemblies. Work with a cross-functional team of mechanical, optical, electrical, and software engineers to test and troubleshoot assemblies. Write technical reports summarizing findings and recommend solutions to technical problems.

* MS or PhD in Optics, Physics, or Electrical Engineering. Hands-on experience with opto-mechanical systems.
* Experience with aligning optical systems. Experience with ray tracing software such as Zemax or Code V.
