Job Description


* Test, debug, repair, and modify a range of PCBs and system to support a large system deployment
* Assistant in hardware lab to help manage lab setup, equipment, and track PCB debug status and reworks
* Perform PCB and system level testing by running diagnostic software and other testing programs
* Use tracking software and system to keep record of prototypes
* Support manufacturing testing and debug effort of the product (in prototype and production)
* Perform simple rework to repair PCBs and systems

Qualificationsand Requirements

* BS in Electrical Engineering, MS preferred
* School projects with hands on experience designing/testing PCBs with analog and digital components
* Knowledge of digital oscilloscope operation and oscilloscope probing skills
* Basic mechanical hand-tool skills
* Basic SW programing skill using Perl, Python or Unix shell
* Knowledge of EDA (prefer Cadence) schematic and layout tools or simulation tools like Verilog or SystemVerilog a big plus
* Experience in testing and debugging of optical systems/optoelectronic assemblies a big plus
