Job Description

Responsibilities

Join an engineering team of designing and developing novel optoelectronic systems, assemblies, tools and processes for innovative lithographic imaging systems. Grow and maintain technical knowledge current with advancing technology relating to areas of optics, optoelectronics and product development in fields of interest. Perform calculations and analyses to verify designs. Document engineering reports, and work with suppliers to ensure components meet design requirements. Collaborate with other engineers on the team such as mechanical and electronic design engineers to ensure overall device meets requirements and timelines.

Qualifications

MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Optics, Mechanical Engineering and/or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in design and development of optical systems/optoelectronic assemblies and prior experience working with a range of detectors and light sources such as PDs, LEDs, laser diodes and related assemblies.
