Job Description

Division Director of Residential Services

Applewood Centers is currently hiring for a Division Director of Residential Services. Under the leadership of the Executive Director, the Director of Residential coordinates and monitors unit operations, treatment services, and juvenile justice programming. As the Director of Residential, you will be responsible for the development and implementation of clinical programming, hiring and supervision of division staff, and oversight of division budgets and census. You will ensure the division exceeds standards of care as outlined by risk management, governing bodies and placement agencies. As the Director of Residential, you will also represent the agency in the development and maintenance of relationships with outside organizations and community stakeholders. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and organizational qualities, as well as, a commitment to the growth of our agency and its employees.

A Master's degree in a related area along with 7 years demonstrated work experience that includes at least four (4) years in a supervisory capacity. A valid Ohio Independent License in Counseling or Social Work with Supervising Designation is required. Candidates must have a flexible schedule with some evenings and weekends possible. On call for crisis or other division needs. A valid drivers' license, personal transportation and insurance required.
