Job Description

Our team is responsible for many aspects of our wireless products including the iOS kernel driver development for Cellular technologies, development and debugging of Cellular Baseband drivers and Wi-Fi firmware in iOS and MacOS. As part of the team, you will learn deep internals of operating system design and C++ library design as well as come across rare and difficult to root cause problems.
As part of our team, you will contribute to the following:

Triaging and consolidation of day to day Kernel Panics
Design new kernel drivers for new inter-chip Bus communication schemes
Own the development and debugging cycle of operating system stability issues along with driving the maintenance of existing code base
Work closely with cross-functional hardware teams, iOS and MacOS kernel teams for bring-up of new chipsets

BS is required. CS degree with Operating System focus is desired. Experienced candidates with multiple years of kernel driver design experience will be considered. Recent graduates with outstanding academic records and demonstrated C++ programming ability will be considered.

Experience of writing chip drivers inside kernel from scratch for large operating systems
In-depth knowledge of C and C++ and deep interest in system programming concepts such as memory management and process management
In-depth hands on knowledge of using kernel debuggers and examining memory dumps
Demonstrated ability to look at bugs under pressure
Knowledge of serial buses such as UART/USB/SPI/PCIe is very useful
Ability to work under tight schedule and deliver on time
Thrive in a collaborative environment and can clearly communicate while confidently driving multiple projects across many teams
