Job Summary

Apple's Applications group is looking for a recent grad on our DevOps team. Our team runs the continuous integration for about a third of Apple's applications. We are passionate about continuously improving the way we enable the software development lifecyle and we're looking for a like-minded candidate who wants to continuously automate and improve their environment. We know college courses give you the theory, but getting experience with problems of scale comes in the field; our position will rotate you through our infrastructure and software systems, giving you an opportunity to apply what you learned in school and continue to learn on the job.

Key Qualifications

Self-motived, passionate about DevOps, enjoys a steep learning curveProficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, RubyOOP coding experienceExperience with Unix utilities, configuration and administration Strong debugging and problem solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills


Configure, maintain and monitor a fleet of physical / virtual machines running our CI environment Continuously develop and improve our CI pipelineCollaborate across teams to improve integration & release process


BS in Computer Science or equivalent

Additional Requirements

Familiar with software development lifecycle including continuous integration and agile developmentExperience with a continuous integration platform such as JenkinsExperience with a SCM such as GitExperience with DevOps tools such as Chef, Ansible, Docker, KubernetesExperience with REST APIsExperience with microservicesExposure to software processes such as unit testing, code analysis and code coverageExperience with Mac OS administrationExperience with Apple development environment such as XCode, Swift, Cocoa
