Aon is looking for a Research Analyst - Public Sector

As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions supporting the Public Sector group in Chiscago IL.

Your impact as a Research Analyst

Job Responsibilities:

* Researches and develops nuanced perspectives on public sector needs, regulations and macro-events that impact the demand for risk solutions (e.g., re/insurance, catastrophe bonds, other risk-transfer products)
* Identifies and develops opportunities for new, creative risk solutions for public sector clients (state, federal, and global) across diverse geographies
* Analyzes public sector budgets and spending to propose appropriate risk solutions and coverage levels for client need
* Works collaboratively with internal business partners across Aon to enable the success of new risk solutions

You Bring Knowledge and Expertise

* Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience required
* Minimum of 2-3 years experience serving or working in the public sector (e.g., state, federal, global agency)
* Familiarity with financial services, insurance, and budgeting processes preferred
* Strong team-based collaboration skills
