Aon is looking for an Investment Performance Analyst in Chicago

Minimum Requirements:

* Strong technical and analytical skills
* Accuracy & attention to detail
* Basic knowledge of capital markets and investments and/or keen interest in developing knowledge of capital markets and investments
* Proficiency with specific software packages (e.g. Microsoft Office)
* 4 year college degree in relevant area (e.g., business, finance, economics)
* Demonstrates basic writing and communication skills

Additional Details:

* An IC Investment Analyst uses technical, analytical, and communication skills to support consultants and clients in all aspects of data-related work
* Takes accountability and ownership of work
* Balances financial account statements for clients' investment portfolios
* Audits rates of return and reconciles discrepancies of returns calculated by our performance system versus those calculated by custodians and/or investment managers
* Finalizes financial information from multiple sources in order to prepare quarterly investment performance reports
* Gathers manager research documents pertinent to clients' portfolios, bringing them to the attention of senior client team members.
* Updates Risk Analyzer with cash flows in order to produce defined benefit client dashboards
* Responds to ad hoc requests from clients and/or consultants
* Composes written interpretations of investment portfolio results and prepares discussion guides for client meetings
* Meets with senior members of client teams to discuss relevant client matters and/or issues
* Strong technical and analytical skills
