Essential Responsibilities:

* Learn how to do state-of-the-art IC layout using Cadence, the premier industry tool
* Work with a team of skilled microwave design engineers, who will mentor you
* Develop cell-level and top-level layout plans
* Perform parasitic extraction and circuit simulation to optimize circuit performance
* Collaborate with other IC layout engineers to create the final top-level IC layout
* Coordinate with the IC fabs to assure layouts meet manufacturing requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

* BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Physics required
* Understanding of the fundamentals of analog and digital circuit design
* Understanding of basic transmission line theory
* Linux/Unix basic proficiency
* Previous IC layout experience with Cadence desired, but not required
* Passion and dedication to take ownership of a project from start to finish
* Diligence to work independently
* Commitment to collaboration and sharing knowledge with colleagues
