The Supply Chain Physical Quality Assurance group functions to ensure our Amway Business Owners (ABOs) around the globe are selling safe, high quality products that meet and exceed quality standards.  This team tests and inspects all incoming packaging components and buyout products to ensure products are safe, and packaging meets our high quality standards.  Working on this team will offer broad exposures to a wide variety of packaging materials, packaging components, and finished buyout products.  Your exposures will provide a strong platform for continued growth in the Quality Assurance environment. 


How you would contribute to the role:


If you enjoy a hands-on role that has you performing testing on a variety of packaging components, and buyout products, coming in from various manufacturing entities, this role may be for you!  You will execute package testing, including:  review of artwork, copy, color, etc.  Additionally, you will do dimensional testing, and inspection of inhouse made cartons and bottles.  Shift hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with occasional weekend support required.  You will also read and interpret test results, and record data into the LIMS system.  This role has broad interactions with our manufacturing partners (especially paper products) and other internal customers, all of whom value your contribution.  As part of this high functioning team, your work will ensure Amway products retain the high-quality standards that set us apart in the industry as a global consumer products leader.  


What skills and background will be important to be successful:

  • Prior experience in a GMP / GLP lab setting, testing consumer products in an ISO accredited lab
  • Proficiency with LIMS (Starlims), or related lab system
  • Experience reading and interpreting lab results
  • Ability to offer recommendations for improvements
  • Talent to communicate broadly, with tact and diplomacy
  • Background in sciences curriculum, with BS degree desirable
