Job Title: French Bilingual Customer Care Associate – 2nd shift

Department / Company: Customer Service / Amway

Location: Ada, MI


What’s special about this job:


The Customer Service team is based at our World Headquarters in Ada, Michigan and provides support to our Independent Business Owners (IBO’s) in North America.  This dedicated and customer focused team provides support primarily by phone, and sometimes through email, and is the first contact our IBO’s and their customers have to address questions and concerns.  In this role you will provide professional and friendly support, and you will receive training on company specific information.  You will report to a Supervisor in Customer Service, and this position will be on 2nd shift.


How you would contribute to the role:


In this role, you will provide excellent bilingual customer service in both French and English.  In addition to answering questions and processing orders, you will also educate our IBO’s on a broad range of business processes and systems.  More complex questions will be escalated to higher level Support Specialists.  As part of this process, you will use a knowledge management database to document, monitor progress and completion of service requests.  You will serve as an advocate for our IBO’s and customers - you will be a trusted connection to them.  Your customer service and people skills will be fully utilized in this role.


What skills and background will be important to be successful:

  • High School Diploma is required.  An Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
  • Fluency in both French and English, verbal and written.
  • 1 -2 years of experience within a customer service environment.
  • Excellent customer service skills in combination with strong problem solving skills.
  • High level attention to detail and accuracy.
  • The ability to quickly learn and adapt to a frequently changing business environment and effectively serve as an advocate for our IBO’s and customers.
