This role will lead one or more Data Quality efforts in the enterprise. Experience with Data Profiling and Data Monitoring to drive fixes toward quality standards are key to success in the role. The solutions delivered must be aligned with business and IT strategies and compliant with the organization’s architectural standards.



  • Lead data modeling and development for BI by engaging with business and other IT teams to understand functionality by participating in requirements gathering and design reviews.
  • Provides guidance in implementing and maintaining metadata and master data management.
  • Establishes and enforces data modeling best practices and standards working with IT teams to ensure compliance through ongoing Data Governance.
  • Reviews and approves database implementation objects for deployment (DDL, roles, grants, synonym etc.).
  • Leads data profiling and monitoring efforts, establishing and enabling data quality efforts for key enterprise measures.
  • Validates and approves data models received from project teams for integration with the Enterprise Information Management.
  • Conducts reverse engineering using data modeling tool from database and DDL.
  • Performs ERwin Mart administration and license management.
  • Works with development teams to map data elements for ETLs.
  • Works with Business Objects and Tableau developers and administrators to address data concerns
  • Partners with Solution Architects and development teams to create and maintain conceptual, logical and physical data models for OLAP and OLTP systems, and MDM Base Objects


•  Demonstrated plus years of overall Business Intelligence work experience  in a subject matter expert or management capacity with preference of Extensive experience in data modeling
•  Some years using ERwin 9.6 on recent projects including administration skills.
•  Some years using SQL for data transformation.
•  Some years using Informatica Analyst and Developer 9.0 or higher for data profiling and data quality
•  Experience supporting Oracle and SQL Server database objects
•  Exposure to Business Intelligence tools such as Business Objects, Tableau, etc.
•  Must work effectively in a team environment
•  Experience with Master Data Management is a plus
•  Experience building reports and dashboards for Oracle and SQL Server database objects
•  Solid understanding of waterfall, iterative and agile development methodologies
•  Strong DW-BI Skills; Data modeling and advanced Reporting experience
•  Ability to work well under deadlines and in a flexible environment
•  Ability to utilize adaptable communication skills to effectively translate between technical and business language
•  Ability to identify, propose and oversee the execution of business solutions as well as interpret documents communicating business needs and requirements
•  Must possess the skill to assess the client needs through direct interaction, and identify opportunities to develop the business through effective use of technology


  • Hands-on Business Objects and Tableau development and administration
  • Experience supporting DB2 and AWS Redshift
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or business management – or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 to 7 plus years of overall Business Intelligence work experience  in a subject matter expert or management capacity with preference of 10 years experience in data modeling.
  • 5 plus years using ERwin 9.6 on recent projects including administration skills.
  • 5 plus years using SQL for data transformation.
  • 3 plus years using Informatica Analyst and Developer 9.0 or higher for data profiling, data quality, and metadata management.

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
