Job Description

The Advisor Business Development Group is a 100-person strong team that consults and coaches our 10,000 financial advisors nationwide. We work with advisors on delivering high quality advice to their current clients, as well as bringing new clients into their practices. As an intern working on our team, you will experience how our business delivers a unique client experience centered on trusted relationships and comprehensive financial advice. With access to best-in-class leadership, state of the art financial planning tools and robust marketing systems, you will assist our team as they work with advisors to ensure our clients feel more confident about their financial future.

This position will be part-time starting in January 2020 working 10-15 hours per week (i.e. 2-3 hours per day) through the school year. Hours are flexible based on class schedules.

Responsibilities

* Assist with website and drip marketing updates for financial advisors
* Book appointments for members of the team
* Conduct ad-hoc project work, including but not limited to building training plans for new hires and creating content for advisor coaching
* Develop and maintain regular reporting and ad-hoc analysis to help the department run efficiently
* Immerse yourself in learning the culture and structure of our team for future employment opportunities

Required Qualifications

* GPA of 3.0 or above
* Pursuing majors in Finance, Business, Economics, or other majors with an interest in exploring Financial Planning
* Current Juniors or Seniors enrolled in a 4-year undergraduate program
* Demonstrated leadership focus with ability to drive results
