Job Description

The primary function of the Equitable Pathways Specialist will be to engage students in academic and social interventions through the roles of mentor and project coordinator to increase student engagement and on-time progress towards a degree. Members will prioritize first generation students, students of color, and low-income students to ensure their success on campus. We have 20 open positions for our Community College sites.

Celebrating its 43rd anniversary this year, AmeriCorps VISTA is a federal national service program designed specifically to fight poverty. VISTAs, aged 18 or older, commit to serve full time for a year at nonprofit organizations and public agencies in urban and rural poverty areas throughout the country to help low-income people and communities improve the conditions of their lives.
