Title: Accounting/Finance Intern (Summer)

Location: League City, TX

Full-Time: Internship

American National was started in 1905 in Galveston, TX, and also has offices in League City, TX, Springfield, MO, and Albany, NY. We offer life, accident and health insurance; property/casualty insurance for personal lines, agribusiness and targeted commercial businesses; and retirement, annuities and pension plan products.

Who we are looking for?

American National is seeking Interns in our League City, TX location. The ideal candidate for this position would have a high attention to detail, proven ability to meet deadlines and strong interpersonal skills.

What we are looking for?

* Must be enrolled in an accredited institution
* Must be pursuing degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
* Ideal candidate would possess a minimum 3.0 GPA
* Must be able to commit 37.5 hours per week Mon-Fri
* Ability to commute to League City, TX
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel & Microsoft Outlook.

* Strong organization skills & attention to detail w/ high level accuracy.

* Ability to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced environment.

* High-level initiative, follow-through & accountability for actions.

Relocation and housing will not be provided for this position
