Job Description

The Internal Audit Intern will be involved in day-to-day activities and projects that will provide them with an opportunity to learn about the internal audit profession, which includes participating on audits with experienced senior audit team members. The Internal Audit Intern will also be able to apply what they learn in the classroom regarding risk management to actual day-to-day office operations. A few takeaways from this internship will be to gain an appreciation of the insurance industry and insight as to what it takes to be an internal auditor vs. an external auditor.

* Assist the Internal Audit team in planning, performning, and reporting on internal control testing
* Work on special projects, such as creating process documentation, completing risk assessements, etc
* Support the audit process. This will include planning, risk analysis, interaction with Company personnel, testing and assisting with report drafting in accordance with appropriate professional and department standards
* Assist with process mapping risks and controls.
