An internship opportunity is available with our Communications Department to assist with managing our member communication initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Assist with development, preparation, and production of content for ABA Banking Journal, ABA Daily Newsbytes and other email bulletins.
* Copy edit and proofread content to ensure that content is clear and readable in a digital format.
* Work on projects for ABA's America's Banks campaign, including collecting and organizing content
* Assist in marketing projects such as email marketing, direct mail, social media and website organization, research and project management.

Required Skills:

* Ability to be flexible while working within a fast paced environment
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
* Strong Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skills
* Experience working with various social media platforms in a professional context is desirable
* Excellent customer service skills
* All applicants must be available to interview on January 31, 2020

Minimum Education:

* Junior/senior standing or Graduate student with a degree focus in Business, Communications, Marketing or related field.
* Minimum 3.0 GPA

Duration/Hours:

June 1, 2020 - August 7, 2020

Pay rate is $20/hour

Full-time; 37.5 hours per week
