Job Summary:

Responsible for general administrative and support services for the Accounts Payable (AP) department and other AP tasks, as assigned.

Essential Functions: 1. Provides administrative support to the AP Department, such as scanning invoices, making copies, opening and handling mail, working AP queues, logging invoices and other ad hoc administrative tasks. 2. Assists with answering phones and responding to or forwarding messages/inquiries from vendors, care centers, and internal stakeholders to the appropriate person. 3. Requests W9s from vendors as directed. 4. Prepares mailings to vendors to communicate address changes, email updates, etc. 5. Performs other duties, as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: - Excellent customer service and communication skills - Ability to work in MS Excel

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent

2. 1-3 years of administrative experience, preferably posting payments or other basic accounting functions

Preferred:Undergraduate in their 2nd or 3rd year, within an accounting or business degree program or a graduate of an Associates in Accounting looking to gain valuable real world working experience as a paid intern for the summer.
