Designs, develops, modifies, debugs and/or maintains software systems. Working on one or more specific modules within a large software system scope.  

What will your job look like?

 

Key Responsibilities:

                                                                                                                                      

•             Engineering - Designs, develops, modifies, debugs and/or maintains software code according to functional, non-functional and technical design specifications. Follow Amdocs software engineering standards, applicable software development methodology and release processes. Ensures code is maintainable, scalable and supportable. Demo the software products to stakeholders.

•             Defines site objectives by analyzing user issues, envisioning system features and functionality.

•             Troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.

•             Work on rapid development of urgent requirements by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings.

•             Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.

•             Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.

•             Develop according to Amdocs standards to ensure that all milestone deliverables meet with defined standards. Deliverables include technical specifications, release notes, installation guides and other documentation

•             Investigation - Investigates issues by reviewing/debugging code, provides fixes (analyze and fix bugs) and workarounds, reviews changes for operability to maintain existing software solutions

All you need is...

 

 

•             Mandatory: 5+ years of experience in Java development projects

•             Mandatory: 2+ years of hands on experience developing application which is built on MVC, Javascript, Web services(REST/SOAP), spring, JMS, SQL oriented projects.

•             Mandatory: 2+ years of experience developing and supporting large scale application

•             Mandatory: 2+ Years of Web logic and Oracle hands on experience

•             Mandatory: Advanced communication skills with the ability to clarify application requirements via phone/email with business partners in addition on relying on technical requirements documentation

•             Mandatory: Ability to travel to the US for training and KT purposes

•             Preferred: 1+ years of Agile/scrum experience

•             Preferred: 1+ years of experience working with any ATT projects.

•             Must demonstrate ability to manage multiple, concurrent tasks

•             Knowledge of Amdocs Ordering Product and EPC

•             Excellent customer facing, communication and managerial skills

•             Ability to work in challenging mode
