Job Description

Come join the platform team that develops components and services used to support repeat delivery programs like Subscribe & Save for customers and Recurring Delivery for businesses. Our systems enable Amazon to launch high-profile, customer-facing programs that span Amazon categories, technologies, and countries. SDEs on our team have many opportunities to work with business and technical stakeholders around the company and directly impact customer experience.

Our projects span the entire Amazon platform. We build and own:
- Customer-facing website features
- Web services for interacting with customer and business applications
- Workflow applications for managing subscription states and events
- Vendor tools for managing selection and inventory management
This year, you will have the unique opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a re-architecture effort that will leverage many AWS products.

Basic Qualifications

2+ years in software development Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field Proven track record in delivering features in agile environment Understanding and experience in object-oriented design and data structures Computer Science fundamentals in algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis Solid experience with web development technologies, particularly Java, HTML, CSS, JavaScript with AJAX, Database design Experience working in Linux environments Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with Spring and Hibernate Experience with Java testing frameworks like JUnit and EasyMock Familiarity with NoSQL databases
