Basic Qualifications

-Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (e.g. Aerospace, Electric Engineering, Automation… etc), or related science discipline (e.g. Math, Physics,… etc)
-Hands-on programming experience in Java, C++, and other object-oriented languages and have a deep understanding of object-oriented design.
-Self-starter, quick learner and hard worker
-Excellent communication and analytical skills
-Exhibits excellent team work

Preferred Qualifications

Strong, object-oriented design and coding skills (C/C++ and/or Java preferably on a UNIX or Linux platform) Experience with distributed (multi-tiered) systems, algorithms, and relational databases Experience in optimization mathematics (linear programming, nonlinear optimization) Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions Deal well with ambiguous/undefined problems; ability to think abstractly Previous technical internship(s) preferred Graduate degree a plus Amazon is an Equal Opportunity-Affirmative Action Employer - Minority / Female / Disability / Veteran / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation.
