Job Description

The Total Compensation Communications team, is responsible for creating and executing total rewards communications & marketing that attract, engage and retain employees to the Enterprise. The Communications team collaborates and consults with leadership, business clients, HR Business Partners and other HR partners within the Allstate family of companies to identify, develop and implement strategic enterprise communications initiatives that foster greater understanding of their total rewards, including benefits, compensation and wellbeing.

The Communications Consultant is responsible for executing communications and marketing by applying professional judgment, knowledge, experience and a building perspective around wellbeing. The individual will be responsible for assisting with all aspects of communications and marketing. This includes project planning, execution, timing, functionality, quality, and cost management.

Key Responsibilities

The individual will assist with internal and external vendor resources to deliver participant communications and is responsible for the following:

* Total Compensation Communication and Marketing Design & Implementation Oversight
* Oversee the execution of communications including creating quarterly newsletters, updating website bi-monthly, Implement marketing programs that support strategic plans
* Collaborate with internal marketing & communications partners and manage vendors who may also execute programs in support of communications
* Recognize gaps in processes and recommend holistic solutions
* Anticipate operational issues and recommend preventative measures

* Marketing Communications Strategy & Development
* Assist with execution of strategy, design & development of all marketing and communications around wellbeing
* Work with subject matter experts in marketing and communications development
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IMC, Corp Relations, Legal, etc.) on marketing and communications integration

* Vendor Management
* Assist in effectively managing vendors by participating in the day to day operations with the various vendors
* Provide appropriate and timely feedback to management and make recommendations for process improvements. Bring attention to management when not in compliance and work directly with vendor to correct

* Strategic Planning
* Understand how the individual strategies link to the overall business unit strategy
* Assist in implementing strategy and designs that are engaging and cost effective
* Participate in industry webinars to understand best practices and how they can be implemented internally

* Project Management
* Assist in the implementation of small/medium projects; implement strategic change
* Coordinate projects and program execution
* Analyze quantitative, qualitative and trend data and provide results to project manager
* Provide appropriate project documents, status reports and measurements to leadership.
* Reach out, support and collaborate with other HR units and business units

Job Qualifications

* Education: Undergraduate Degree
* Experience: 2-4 years of Communications and/or Marketing experience
* Professional with good organizational and communication skills
* Creative thinking and problem solving skills
* Basic knowledge of
* Basic knowledge and experience in developing marketing & communications
* Good presentation development and delivery skills
* Good analytical skills
* Good vendor and project management skills
* Work independently
* Is a team player, who collaborates well with others

* Intermediate business writing skills
