Job Description

Welder - Family environment with room for growth - Berea, OH

The Basics

Alloy Engineering is currently searching for welders to join our team. This is an incredible learning opportunity for someone that takes pride in their work. We're employee-owned which means we are all in this together and the team environment that creates around here is drastically different than you will find anywhere else. This person plans, lays out and performs complex welding operations on a wide variety of metals and alloys in vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.

Why Would You Want to Work with Us?

We're the only employee-owned shop in the area. What that means for you is that you'll have an impact on how our company runs and the policies we create. We value each and every opinion on our team. As you grow with us, you will have the opportunity to be a part of a few different committees that plan out all aspects of the company like our cost-saving, safety or culture committee. We're invested in making this the best place to work. If you're the type of person that likes to surround yourself with people that take their job seriously and take pride in their work, we're your family. Come join us!

We're also not a production line type shop so you'll always be challenged by new projects and your ability to grow with our company is only limited by your desire to do so. Your supervisor won't be hanging over your shoulder every second of the day. We believe in letting our people do their best work the way they want to as long as it gets done.

Why This Position Matters to Us

The Welder is the building block of our team where most of our leaders get started. We promote from within whenever we can and getting the right individuals in at the bottom is key to our success. We don't take these positions lightly. Just because you'll be one of the new guys' on our team doesn't mean you don't have just as much responsibility to a project as someone else. We're all a part of the puzzle and every person matters. We want you to succeed, because then we succeed. We want you to be here for a long time, so we want you to have the best introduction to our company from the very beginning.
