Maintenance Supervisor for a growing Cleveland company (new position)

Your Role with the Company:

The Maintenance Supervisor will have 4-5 direct reports, be responsible for scheduling, planning and directing duties of maintenance. Will maintain tool crib for appearance and inventory of supplies, oversee implementation and maintenance of the preventative maintenance programs, maintain PPM contracts and outside vendors, write requisitions for MRO purchases and ensure safety procedures are followed. Computer skills needed (They utilize software for preventative maintenance and scheduling). Will be hands-on with maintaining over 70+ machines including production lines, CNC machines as well as building maintenance. Primarily mechanical troubleshooting but some electrical troubleshooting as well (no PLC programming required).

Background Profile:

  • Experience as a Maintenance Supervisor from heavy manufacturing
  • Able to get their hands dirty (hands-on Supervisor) will help with maintaining, diagnosing and upgrading equipment
  • Solid mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Preventative and Predictive Maintenance experience
  • Able to earn the trust of employees, mentor and work with employees, great communication skills - not a dictator type of manager (firm but fair)
  • Computer literate (don't have to have experience with their systems but someone that can get around a computer system easily)

Salary:

Commensurate with experience but they would like to hire someone in the $60,000 - $75,000 range.
