Job Description

This National Accounts Manager will be responsible for growing sales with new and existing accounts with a focus on products sold through brick and mortar and big box customers. This company is highly profitable, has award winning customer service and vertically integrated manufacturing capabilities that allow them to be highly competitive in the marketplace.

The territory is currently on pace for $13-15MM for 2017 and growth potential for territory is projected to be up to 20MM in the next 3 years. Expectations would be to grow that territory from 2-5MM per year through channel development with companies such as Fastenal, Lowes, Tractor Supply, Walmart, etc.

Compensation would include a base salary and a bonus based on annual & existing growth to your territory. This company has excellent medical and retirement benefits as well. This position is capable of 120k in year one and over 200k in year three for those who can excel in landing new accounts with the target markets.

  • Ability to close new business and hunt for growth opportunities preferable selling a technical product as opposed to a service.

  • Must have an understanding and patience for long sales cycles to gain business.

  • Willingness to manage and expedite processes to gain relationships with big companies (eg Vendor Agreement Contracts, etc).

  • Will need an understanding of Google Analytics to guide decision on accounts to target, areas to improve, etc.

  • Ability to travel when needed/as needed. Could be 30-60% to key accounts and Trade Shows.

  • Must have ability to take on future responsibilities with organization. They expect this role to be a stepping stone to upper management.

  • Preference to candidates in the greater Cleveland area, but open to working remote.
