Job Description

One of our major clients in the Lorain county area is currently seeking a Mental Health Team Manager. This is a full time permanent position that would entail 8 hour day shifts in a Mental Health Office setting. An absolute GREAT opportunity for the right candidate!

Purpose: This is a Full time management position that reports to the Director of Community Psychiatric Supportive Treatment Services. This position has general responsibility for clinical, administrative and fiscal direction, planning, and supervision of the ACT Team. This team is responsible for delivering services that meet the needs of clients, customers, constituents, and the community in compliance with performance and production standards and with requirements of regulatory bodies and/or contracts

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED Employee must have a good knowledge of DSM IV, mental health assessments, crisis intervention techniques and psychotropic medications and mastery of supervision skills. Must have good oral and written communication skills and ability to resolve conflict in working with community agencies, multidisciplinary teams and in dealing with the community. Must exhibit sensitivity to different cultures.


  • Must have Masters Degree with Ohio LISW or LPCC license
  • Minimum of five years experience in mental health field and crisis intervention.
  • 2 years Supervisory experience required.
  • Basic computer skills required, including familiarity with Windows and Microsoft Office.
