Job Description

Makes and receives phone calls with the intent of promoting companys services. May provide a basic level of customer support, but refers more complex problems to other staff members. Relies on instructions or pre-established guidelines to perform job functions. Primary job functions do not typically require exercising independent judgment.

The hours of this role are Monday-Friday, 10:30-7:00 (1/2 hour lunch) or 10:00-7:00 (full hour lunch).

Eligibility Screening

Makes outbound and receives inbound calls with the intent of promoting or selling company services
Interviews patients/members via phone to gather personal/sensitive information in order to determine eligibility for various programs
Uses system to ensure appropriate questions are asked
Interpret and explains information such as eligibility requirements and application details
Clarifies eligibility data with patient or member
Compile, record, and evaluate personal and financial data in order to verify completeness and accuracy.
Utilizes the computer system to accurately complete the screening for eligibility and disposition the account as required
Initiate procedures to refer patient/member to other agencies for assistance as appropriate
Monitors actions to ensure goals are met
Dispositions accounts in a timely manner
Remains HIPAA Compliant

Clerical
Types and transmits correspondence as necessary
Prepares for and participates in all appropriate meetings
Performs miscellaneous administrative tasks as required

Qualifications

1-2 Years Call Center Experience

High School Diploma
