Job Responsibilities *
  • Lead and supervise the Gas System maintenance team * Coordinate/Document activities with the Gas System maintenance team, customer tool owner * Coordinate/Document system upgrades and modifications with equipment manufacturers * Provide proper and timely response to customer requests * Initiate and investigate QIR qualifying events * Lead 5-Why type investigations into negative occurrences * Assist in incident investigation and reviews regarding gas system related equipment * Propose and plan gas system modifications * Publish gas system work plans for non-standard work * 24/7 response support for gas system events * Increase knowledge of gas systems and provide solutions for improved operation and reliability * Summarize gs system weekly activities for weekly report * Increase the knowledge of the maintenance and operations team members through formal and on-the-job training. * Increase team flexibility through cross training * Maintain gas system sampling plan * Create and update gas system maintenance related procedures and processes * Report monthly KPI data to the customer or as needed * Attend customer related meetings regarding gas system equipment * Ensure slurry PM compliance utilizing customer maintenance management system * Manage gas system set point database * Review and sign-off all gas system maintenance paperwork for performed tasks * Oversee temporary change notice process for gas system related equipment * General understanding of system components (i.e. plastics PFA based plumbing and piping systems, valves, pumps, flowmeters, pressure transducers) * General understanding of design and operation of gas delivery systems * General understanding of logic based control systems and machine operation * Ability and willingness to perform maintenance and modifications on actively operating gas dispense systems * General understanding of the risks and safety measures necessary to safely manipulate an active operating chemical dispense systems * Ability and willingness to verbally describe activity and functional behavior of a gas system dispense system to remote design engineers and manufacturers. * Ability to read and understand system P&IDs, Electrical Schematics, and PFDs * General understanding of Engineering, Design, and Manufacturing Terminology * Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose faulted equipment and components Required Qualifications * High School Diploma or GED * 5+ years of experience working with gases, or similar materials in an operations or distribution environment * 5+ years of experience in the semiconductor industry or with a supplier to the semiconductor industry is highly preferred * Knowledge of mechanical equipment including pumps, piping, and valves. * Ability to lead a team * Strong oral and written communication skills Preferred Qualifications * Bachelor's degree; Engineering or related technical discipline * 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
