Agenus is an immune-oncology biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery and development of novel therapies for cancer. Agenus has offices and laboratories in Lexington, MA, New York, NY, Berkeley, CA, and Cambridge, UK that collaborate with leading corporate and academic partners around the world.

The company is seeking to fill a full-time internship position with a bachelor's level graduate in biology, chemistry or related discipline. This position is in our research biochemistry group in Lexington, MA. Preferred candidates will have independent laboratory research. Experience in biological, biochemical, or chemical analytical and/or synthetic methods is highly desirable. Candidates should have broad exposure to the use of various kinds of laboratory instrumentation and automation, through classroom instruction and research experience. They should also be highly conversant as well in the use of computers and software as they apply to laboratory research.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

About Agenus

Under the agreement, Agenus has granted NewVac an exclusive license to manufacture, market and sell Oncophage as well as pursue a development program of Oncophage in combination with NewVac's co-adjuvant technology in the Russian Federation and CIS countries. Our business strategy is two pronged (1) to discover, develop and commercialize novel vaccines in our core therapeutic areas and (2) to partner and collaborate with leading institutions and companies in an effort to speed our product candidates to market.
