Job Description

Financial Analyst - New Product


AGCO is currently seeking a Financial Analyst - New Product to join our Product Cost team in Hesston, KS. The Financial Analyst - New Product will be responsible for developing, monitoring, and reporting product cost and project spending information for new products under development.  In addition, the Financial Analyst - New Product will provide support for budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting within the Engineering organization.


Responsibilities of the Financial Analyst - New Product:

  • Set standards on pilot and initial full production of new products
  • Create and monitor CER’s for product development projects
  • Collaborate with other departments to obtain required project information
  • Maintain product cost and margin information in AMPIP
  • Prepare information for Product Committee reviews 
  • Assist with elements of budgeting and forecasting processes and deliver timely reporting to drive forecast accuracy


Required Qualifications of the Financial Analyst - New Product:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Access
  • Completed internship to 5 years of experience in a financial planning and analysis (FP&A) or related role

Preferred Qualifications of the Financial Analyst - New Product:

  • Prior work with ERP systems such as JD Edwards, Ariba, and/or SAP
  • Knowledge of Essbase functionality
  • Manufacturing Accounting experience


Education of the Financial Analyst - New Product:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting
