Inside Sales Representative:


AGCO is currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative to join our sales team in Batavia, IL. The Inside Sales Representative will mainly be responsible for making outbound parts sales calls to an established customer base of agricultural parts distributors. Additionally, the Inside Sales Representative will be the primary consultant to an assigned dealer base, responsible for assisting them in increasing their business.  Lastly, the Inside Sales Representative will assist Field Parts Managers in increasing communication and merchandising to dealers in order to maximize sales and efficiency. 


Essential Job Functions:


  • Contact dealers via phone to enter orders for AGCO Parts division products
  • Assist dealers with methods to increase their parts business. Explain and train on programs and processes
  • Work closely with the Field Parts Managers to account plan and establish calling patterns
  • Promote the business partner relationship between AGCO and the dealer
  • Provide information to dealers on special promotions and inform about the financial benefits of doing business with AGCO
  • Routinely follow-up with dealers regarding any relevant sales question. Multi-task, organize, and communicate regularly with division personnel to assist in the sale of AGCO parts products
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with company reporting policies and procedures


Required Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in marketing or sales
  • Proficiency using Windows Office, specifically Excel
  • General understanding of marketing and/or sales
  • Excellent customer service and telephone communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of farm equipment and business practices.



  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management or Agriculture, or equivalent phone and customer service experience required.
