Your Function:
 

The Operations Account Manager, Dealer Financial Services, partnering and directing a team of dealer inventory wholesale finance specialists will manage and optimize the risk management of our dealer inventory wholesale finance portfolio through perfection of collateral security and documentation, PMSI / UCC filings, dealer credit lines for client, collections, collateral asset management - field audits,, workouts, and legal/litigation interaction, in order to support client and minimize risk costs,

 

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Working with the dealer inventory wholesale team to support US dealer inventory flooring lines and interact with Canadian team as required.
  • Ensure appropriate actions to mitigate risk and prevent loss (including repossession of equipment) in accordance with external laws, codes, and internal policy procedure
  • Ensure and execute adequate and timely portfolio risk management through:
    • Documentation, structure, and security to ensure priority perfection
    • Special Agreements; Buy-Sell, Forbearance, Bailment, LOU’s, WOA’s, ICA’s Subordination, etc.
    • Immediate response to BOT/SOT
    • Line Management and underwriting support to Risk Analysts
    • Terms of Dealer Finance Agreements
    • Workouts and Collection of dealer deficiencies amounts owed to AGCO Finance and Client.
      • Past Due Action
      • Demand Letters
      • Collateral Protection
    • Engage with legal and assist Client/Corporate legal on bankruptcy, collection actions, replevin and other dealer litigation issues
  • Manage activities and ensures that dealer’s right are properly extinguished and company’s rights to deficiency are preserved
    • Approve and process AGCO Finance repossessions  
    • Review requests for repossession that require approval
    • Ensure accurate documentation on each repossession
      • Right to Redeem
      • Statutory Buy-Back Laws
  • Manage field audits through utilization of Internal DFS Audit Field Staff, Outside Audit Firm. DLL Field Team and Client Field Team
  • Oversee UCC (Uniform Commercial Code) filings, Security Agreements, DSSA’s, PG’s and PMSI notifications to ensure priority perfection of collateral.
  • Review and analyze activities to recognize potential operational inefficiencies and recommend process improvements
  • Manage processes and staff development in such a way that the team plan and objectives are achieved
    • Help define and manage to KPIs and targets.
  • Continual Account and Liaison Management with Client, Dealers and Company Management.
  • Travel may be required

 

 

Your Profile:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 5+ years’ experience, preferably, with progressive responsibility demonstrated in roles and positions. In depth knowledge of Uniform Commercial Code, Inventory Wholesale Finance Security, Personal Property Security Act, and applicable statutory and federal laws
  • Leadership skills, ability to manage other team members
  • Ability to use interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills with sound decision making to negotiate outcomes that are favorable to the company
  • Ability to minimize further management involvement up to authority level
  • Sound decision-making processes in order to protect company assets
  • Ability to communicate, both orally and written, with other members of the team, clients, and prospective clients
  • Attention and quality to details, accuracy, and deadlines
  • Proven ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines
  • Must have the ability to lift 10lbs
  • Must have the ability to sit and work at computer for extended periods of time
