Responsibilities:

AEgis is seeking highly qualified Mission Assurance Acquisition Support Engineer for support of multiple Space and Missile Systems Center (SMC) programs. As a Mission Assurance expert, assist SMC programs in defining Mission Assurance requirements across the entire program lifecycle. As an acquisitions specialist, assist SMC Directorates in developing executable acquisition strategies consistent with the established Mission Assurance approach. Assist the program offices in establishing risk tolerance levels, and tailor the Mission Assurance approach to these risk levels using established specifications and standards. Attends, and provides insightful assessment supporting client leadership in risk assessment and other Mission Assurance related meetings. Implement a project level quality program and metrics, assuring client satisfaction. Implement Mission Assurance across all programs in the SMC Enterprise.

Qualifications:

Candidate will have a minimum of a BS Engineering degree and 3-8 years of experience in space systems, ground systems, launch systems and project management in the Space Community. Candidate must have US Secret Clearance with a Top Secret/SCI Clearance with current SSBI preferred. Must be familiar with SMCI 63-106, TOR-2007(8546)-6018, SMC-G-007, TOR-2013-00132, and all other relevant military and industrial specifications and standards relevant to the SMC Mission Assurance effort. Detail oriented with strong analytical skills; detailed knowledge of AF Space and Missiles Center (SMC) processes, organizations, and missions. Extremely organized. Strong multi-tasking and time-management skills. Demonstrated ability to be part of a cohesive team and deliver the highest quality service. Can handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and confidentiality.
