Corrpro Companies, Inc. is seeking an entry level Project Engineer to support our Chicago, IL office.

Corrpro, a subsidiary of Aegion Corporation, is among the World's largest corrosion engineering, cathodic protection, and corrosion monitoring business for the protection and preservation of infrastructure. Corrpro provides professional corrosion consulting and cathodic protection engineering services to major oil companies, government agencies, municipal water, sewer and gas utilities, universities, and public transportation agencies. Responsibilities

The primary responsibilities of our Project Engineer include the following:

* Review of project plans
* Review project contracts and their respective budget
* Set up project execution
* Coordinate material delivery and company provided services
* Resolve project issues as they may arise
* Follow-up on payment when necessary or as requested by Finance Department
* Be a technical resource for installation methods

Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred, with preference in civil engineering
* Construction experience a plus
* Excellent verbal and written skills are a must
* Good computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Reliable individual with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
* Self-motivated/self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team with the ability to manage time wisely.
* Out-of-office travel, estimated at 25%
