Graphics Core Design Verification EngineerMS Degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering New college graduates must have a GPA of 3.5+/4.0 to be considered- Key member of the Graphics IP Development team responsible for the verification of next generation Graphics Processors- Using state of the art techniques you will be responsible for verification at the functional model, RTL, and/or gate level for graphics processing systems or sub-blocks of the system.- Responsible for understanding new feature definitions and requirements and their impact on the existing product architecture and design- Responsible for identifying the appropriate verification methodology, documenting the test plan, designing the tests, debugging issues with the tests and/or hardware design being testedRequired Skills: Multiple projects authoring C/C++ code, demonstrated understanding of system level requirements analysis, modeling, functional verification and debugging. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written for interaction with a large team across multiple sites. Knowledge and experience can be gained concurrently or as part of an education curriculum.Desirable Skills: ASIC verification, 3D Graphics Pipeline, Windows/Linux, PERL or similar scripting language, Verilog Hardware Description Language (HDL), Verification Methodologies such as OVM/UVM, Synopsys: VCS Functional Verification, Verdi Automated Debug System.AMD does not accept unsolicited resumes from headhunters, recruitment agencies or fee based recruitment services.
