Position Overview

Adaptive Biotechnologies is looking for a Market Access Intern for the Summer of 2019. The Adaptive Market Access Summer Internship will provide the opportunity for an HE&OR graduate student with an interest in the field of precision medicine to develop her/his skills and obtain experience within a highly innovative corporate biotech setting. The role will focus on a defined set of projects including health economic modeling and outcomes data analysis to support payer coverage initiatives for Adaptive's diagnostic test portfolio. The individual selected for the position will work cross-functionally with both commercial and medical members of the Adaptive Team.


* The selected intern will be responsible for one or more of following activities:
* Develop and implement health economics studies, health outcomes analyses, or epidemiology studies
* Partner with the Market access team in outlining concepts for innovative coverage and payment models for Adaptive's novel products
* Support development of content for abstracts, posters, publications
* You will work with key subject matter experts within Adaptive and participate in cross-functional team meetings
* You will develop weekly milestone reports and a final project presentation to the department management team


* Currently enrolled in a graduate level program at an accredited university (Master's or PhD or PharmD) preferably in the fields of pharmacy, health economics, health policy, epidemiology, statistics, data analytics, economics and related disciplines in life sciences
* Strong academic performance
* Demonstrated interpersonal skills
* Demonstrated oral and written communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
* Experience in health economic modeling and in data analysis
* Prior experience in conducting literature review
