Job Description

Great Games Start with Great People! This is an exciting time to join us! We are actively seeking a Salesforce Developer, who will be responsible for Salesforce.com development & maintenance projects.

This is a hands-on role focused on identifying, planning, coding, and implementing new Salesforce.com features and functions including but not limited to process builder and approval flows, page layouts, Apex, Visualforce and Lightning pages, objects, reports and dashboards based on business needs. This person will work closely with the Business team to identify practical solutions through existing and/or new application technology, and will be responsible for the development, testing, support and maintenance of Activision's Salesforce instances. The company's product portfolio includes Activision Publishing's Call of Duty®, and Skylanders™- franchises as well as Blizzard Entertainment's World of Warcraft®, Warcraft®, StarCraft®, and Diablo® franchises.

Activision Blizzard is the umbrella organization over Activision Publishing, Blizzard Entertainment, King Digital, Activision Media Networks and Activision Blizzard Studios and provides corporate shared services such as Legal, HR, Finance, IT, Accounting, Facilities and Sales, for all companies.


- Build custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, workflows, etc.

- Create functional/technical design documents

- Maintain users, security, workflow rules, etc.

- Conduct user training; develop and maintain training documentation

- Manage ongoing user support and administrative requests

- Design and implement database enhancements such as custom objects, fields, record types and workflows

- Develop reports, dashboards, and processes to support business operations

- Develop appropriate test scenarios and scripts

- Development and configuration of the Activision Salesforce.com Instances


- 4-year college degree; Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or related technical field (or equivalent experience)

- 2+ years of proven development / software engineering experience in a Technology environment

- Some data modeling skills and experience with relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server)

- Some experience in CRM or Customer service applications

- 2+ years of proven development experience using Apex, Visualforce, Large Data Volumes

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

- Working knowledge of data management and ETL tools

- Ability to effectively work in team environment with varying skill set levels

- Ability to effectively work within a geographically diverse team

- Business knowledge of Salesforce Automation, Case Management and Community functionalities

- 1-2 years' experience with the Salesforce.com service cloud

- 2+ years object oriented programming experience using Java or other languages

- Knowledge of SOAP, XML and workflow

- Experienced in integrating 3rd party systems with Salesforce.com
