Job Description

Maintenance Manager

Great opportunity with an excellent company!

The ideal candidate will be able to perform work involving electrical and mechanical troubleshooting of machines and building support/maintenance services. Maintain production tooling. Repair electrical or mechanical equipment; pipe fitting; welding; machining; carpentry; minor HVAC repair; installing new equipment; re-arrangement of existing equipment layouts as required. Assist Manufacturing Engineering with projects through the design/building or procuring of fixtures and testing equipment.

Full Time, 1st shift, flexible schedule with benefits.

Qualifications:

Must be able to read and understand drawings, blueprints, schematics and technical materials

Knowledge of CAD software is beneficial

Experience working with PLC and VFD

Strong understanding of electrical circuits, hydraulics and pneumatics

MIG welding experience

Ability to operate and repair existing and future machinery efficiently and safely

Ability to establish effective working relationships with management

Ability to assess situations and make adjustments to meet deadlines

Must have working knowledge of general building maintenance

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Meet service vendors and contractors to get bids when needed, quotes for repairs and perform follow-up inspections after repairs are made

Maintain current inventory of all building tools, equipment and fixtures in a clean and orderly manner

Schedule, complete and document routine maintenance on manufacturing and testing equipment

Provide technical support and training to plant personnel as needed

Maintain safety standards, repair equipment, and schedule training of employees in accordance with OSHA regulations

Develop, assemble, procure or modify existing and new tooling, fixtures, and equipment to ensure efficient production methods

Assist Manufacturing Engineering in failure analysis and troubleshooting of equipment and processes

Performs other related duties and assignments as required

Requirements:

Maintenance experience with well-rounded maintenance background

Ability to work independently and supervise a maintenance helper and Janitor

Good communication skills

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

Valid Driver's license, proof of insurance and clean DMV report

Physical Demands:

Ability to walk property, climb stairs and ladders.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, if needed.

Work inside and outdoors as required.
