This is a full-time 6-month paid internship that runs from January through June 2020. Applications are due by August 31, 2019.

What You'll Do

* Become an active member of the news staff, writing for Science's daily online news site. News stories typically run 600-800 words and cover all areas of science and science policy

Application Process

Submit a resume and cover letter outlining qualifications and at least 2-3 writing samples by August 31, 2019. These should include journalism clips or examples of writing for a broad audience. Clips that cover scientific topics are preferred. Please do not send examples of technical writing (ex. scientific papers). Please submit writing samples as PDFs or Word files, not as URLs. If writing samples are in Word document form, please submit as a single document. We will contact you with next steps if you are selected.
