Job Description

Position Description

General Skills - Researches and performs basic analysis of processes, applications, systems and data to identify functional requirements for application or system design. Assists customers to clarify basic requirements. Interprets and translates routine requirements into functional specifications. Assists in the development and execution of tests to validate system functionality against specifications. Candidate will need to be proactive, self-driven, and able to interact with varying levels of IT, business partner and management resources. This position is in Commercial Aviation Services (CAS) Flight and Fleet IT Services in support of the Global Training Operations systems, including mobile capabilities. The work includes coordination with other technical teams supporting the CAS Flight Services business at multiple global training campuses. Experience with Agile development, and Software Development Lifecycle methodologies is a plus. Candidate will develop skill in translating business requirements into written functional and business specifications, complying with standards and version control. Candidate will also learn to develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality and requirements, and assist in testing automation. Understanding of User-Centered Design principles is desirable.
