Job Description

Position Description

General Skills - Researches and performs basic analysis of processes, applications, systems and data to identify functional requirements for application or system design. Assists customers to clarify basic requirements. Interprets and translates routine requirements into functional specifications. Assists in the development and execution of tests to validate system functionality against specifications.

The right candidate is a self-starter and able to work well with a diverse team, which includes sourced suppliers onshore and offshore. This position is in Commercial Aviation Services (CAS) Flight and Fleet IT Services in support of web and portal delivery systems, including mobile capabilities. The work includes coordination with other technical teams in MyBoeingFleet and Customer Support to meet business requirements for information search and product purchase capabilities. Experience with Agile development, VersionOne, and Team Foundation Server (TFS) 2012 is a plus. Candidate will develop skill in translating business requirements into written functional and business specifications, complying with standards and version control. Candidate will also learn to develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality and requirements, and assist in testing automation. Understanding of User-Centered Design principles is desirable. We want you to foster good customer relationships, and to recommend new technologies and strategies to satisfy business requirements.

Typical Education/Experience

Level 1 - Technical bachelor's degree. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.
