Honeywell is hiring an Intern Bachelor E&T for our Redmond, WA facility.

Honeywell is looking for an intern that has the desire to pursue a career in advanced avionics. Honeywell Aerospace at the Redmond, WA campus is a world leader in the design of Radio Frequency Surveillance products: Weather Radar, Transponders, Traffic Collision Avoidance System, High Frequency Communication and Navigation Radios, Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning systems and other related products. These products are in service on many Air Transport & Regional and Business & General Aviation platforms, with the main customer space being Boeing and Airbus.
Engineering Test has an immediate opening for an intern. The intern develops hardware and software solutions for Avionics products in order to support:

Full Test Strategy Implementation
Manufacturing Acceptance Test
Highly Accelerated Stress Screen
Environmental Stress Screen
Aircraft Simulation for Software / Systems Validation and Verification
Customer Acceptance Test and Return to Service Test
Repair and Overhaul Test Support
The ideal candidate is an engineering student that enjoys working on both hardware and software, with emphasis on software engineering and integration with RF communications hardware. The ideal candidate enjoys writing software for direct application on an advanced piece of hardware.
Basic Qualifications:

Enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
Due to export restrictions, must be a United States Citizen or lawful permanent resident of United States.
Must be able to complete an internship prior to graduating.
Additional Qualifications

Prefer a candidate with a December 2014 or May 2015 graduation date.
Software Engineering Coursework Completed (C / C / C# / Java)
RF Communications Coursework
Strong written and verbal communication skills
