Job Description

Position Description

This position posting is for an entry level Network Designer positions for Boeing's Information Technology Infrastructure group. The Network Designer will work with an experienced, senior-level team to develop the Telecommunications Network direction of Boeing in order to ensure successful system-to-system integration. Will use system engineering processes to investigate new technologies and create architectures for IT systems and voice networks.

Our team is involved with many exciting projects such as:
* SIP Trunking
* Enterprise Call Center Integration
* Global Enterprise Telecommunications Architecture

Interest or familiarity with in the following areas is a plus:
* Network principles and protocols - Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) Model, Routing/Switching
* Network tools - NCM, DNS, NAMS, NNM, DHCP, Packet analysis
* Network design principles - Local Area Network (LAN)/ Metropolitan Area Network(MAN)/ Wide Area Network (WAN)/Wireless
* Transport protocols and services

Typical Education/Experience
