The R&D Localization team owns and drives all localization across the salesforce.com suite of products. The team is currently looking for an intern for the summer 2014 time frame, to support the team in delivering our platform and services to our global users. With the guidance of the team, the Localization intern will be responsible for the execution of projects in the area of quality assurance.
Language Quality and Linguistic Quality Assurance:
Create an audit of current linguistic QA processes and provide suggestions and a potential roadmap for process improvements. The project will include:
Audit current LQA process and write LQA test scripts
Coordinate linguistic review projects
Collaborate with our Localization Project Managers and our external translation teams
Other responsibilities may include:
Project management support for on-going release, including management of smaller individual projects.
Release improvements through bug fixes
Linguistic review and improvement of a working language, if applicable
Bachelor's degree required.
Ideal subjects of study: language, localization or translation, computer science.
