Adecco Engineering & Technical is currently looking for a Software Developer/Reporting for our client in the Portland metro area!

**Responsible for system programming of reporting enhancements.
**This position needs advanced working knowledge of C# and VB .NET in the Visual Studio programming environment with working SQL knowledge against Oracle and SQL server.

Responsibilities
Programming solutions to designs.
Researching break / Fix issues related to current in-house systems.
Research data differences between multiple different systems involving both Oracle and SQL server environments.
SQL Queries and table creation work.
Possible Cognos work.
Possible design work.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical users in verbal and written form.
Program code for .NET applications in both VB and C# using Microsoft visual studio.
Support SQL Server and SQL Oracle reports both for troubleshooting purposes and to integrate SQL into application.
Application support of office automation solutions.
Preferences would include

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field; or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
General understanding of electrical engineering
Experience in metering data.
Knowledge in Transmission Scheduling and Oasis Systems
Proficient with using VB and C# Microsoft studio.
Knowledge of Team Foundation Server.
Knowledge of SQL Server and Oracle SQL.
Visio, Excel, and automating Office Products.
Other
