Position Description

Work in an IT organization supporting Boeing's Commercial Aviation Services Fleet Operations. We use Agile Software Development to help drive business value for the Commercial Airplanes' reliability and maintenance data warehouse.

Performs basic research of processes, applications, systems and data to support identification of functional requirements for application or system design. Interprets and translates basic requirements into functional specifications. Assists in the development and execution of simple to moderately complex test-driven scripts to validate system functionality against specifications.

Assure test scripts comply with development standards and maximize the use of automated testing. Analyze test results with business partner and assist in the determination of root cause failures. Assist in providing customer and application support. Analyze and estimate change requests working with customer throughout their decision-making process. Maintain version control throughout continuous integration/product builds.

Do you have work or classroom experience in agile software testing methodology including continuous integration tools to support automated build, test and deploy?

Do you have work or classroom programming experience using Visual Studio and automated test tools for .NET software components and scripting tools using SQL, VBScript or JavaScript?

Do you meet the criteria described in the 'Typical Education / Experience' section of this requisition?

Typical Education/Experience

Level 1 - Technical bachelor's degree. A technical degree is defined as any four year degree, or greater, in a mathematic, scientific or information technology field of study.

Level 2 - Technical bachelor's degree and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or a Master's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
